One of "Those Days"

Everybody has "those days". Those days were you just feel like the whole world is falling apart. You feel sick, your easily upset or saddened, you just wanna crawl in a hole and not come out for awhile. It's okay though, you'll get through it. Even though you may feel like no one will understand you or have time to listen, they will. You just need to calm down, and really think about why your upset. Whether there's a reason or not, i'm sure your friends won't mind you just venting to them. They'll have the perfect advice waiting for you, or maybe just that hug and comfort you've really been needing.

If your not in the mood to have friends over, that's cool to. You just need some "you time" , some time to just think about whats on you mind and gather all your feelings. Being a teenager is a very rough experience, one day you feel okay, the next you feel like you'll never make it through what you are dealing with . Just know EVERYONE has days like this, & it will be alright!

Immature-Mature

There comes a time when we reach highschool and our brains kinda click. We grow out of the loud stage we become more calm. Its the time when we start realizing were getting older and we start maturing and acting like adults. And the ones who dont start growning up become anoying. Thats a good sighn your chaning, for the better. Money and jobs become a must have. We want to be imdependant and do a lot more on our own, and thats our responsibility.

Friends Ex's, Are They Off Limits?

So the one thing I always here from my friends, " well I talked to him, so you can't talk to him, or we can't be friends". I really don't see the issue of dating your friends ex's, there is a reason they aren't together anymore, right? I completely understand if it is a recent ex or someone your friend has admitted they still have feelings for the person, now that would be wrong. To be honest if i couldn't date any of my friends ex's, I would have to be single all of high school, I mean everyone has talked to everyone at one point. I think that girls go a little overboard about the whole dating thing, I mean if you guys were meant to be together, you'd be dating. So what do you think about all this? Would you date a friends ex?

Can You Keep A Secret?

Trust issues. The one thing we all have . How can we trust our friends these days? It seems as though you can't keep everything inside, but then if you tell your friends suddenly everyone knows the one thing that you only wanted your friends to know. They say its bad to keep everything inside, but seriously you can barely trust anyone...

So can you keep a secret? Or do you do the same things that i'm talking about? Do you have your friends trust, or do you have a big mouth? Well I think if someone tells you something personal, you should keep it to yourself unless they don't care that you tell...So here's a tip, don't be the snitch, because in the end you won't have any friends.

Balance out the Beam

Hate the times when you have so many things to do but not enough time. Like chosing between your friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, school, work, sports? Having to drive from one destination straight to the other, no break in between?

Well that can all change you just have to balance it all out in the right order. Make a weekly list of all the things you have to do and at what times. Then make a weekly chart. ALWAYS do what needs to be done (school & work, ocassionally sports, but if everything else is to much sports shouldn't be on your plate, another worry.) Then maybe after your done with all those things you can reward yourself with a little downtime to yourself, or spending it with that special other. (:

Sometimes you just have days for certain things. Like, of course you have to go to schoool every weekdays, but maybe on days that you don't have to to work you can catch up with friends, or days you don't have practice take a lunch break with your mate.

You can manage how much time to spend on things, you just gotta plan it right.

Jealous Much?

Some girls really have the issue with jealousy. The way a girl handles jealousy is find any flaw that they can, and make sure you know it. I always wondered why girls would talk bad about other girls they hardly know. They make such comments like " Her hair is so ugly" , "She looks so fat" or "She is too skinny, she looks anorexic". Why make comments like that? Its because they obviously have issues with their own bodies, so they make fun of other girls because they are jealous. That shows why some girls bully, its a complete sign of self-esteem issues. Well I believe all these girls have no right to talk about others, no one is perfect, no one has the perfect body, hair, clothes. We all need to be able to accept that, because every one is beautiful in their own way. So if you have to deal with these girls, just ignore them, they are just not happy with themselves , so they take it out on you. They want something you have, that they don't have.

"Not Enough Time"

Not enough time? It seems like there is just never enough time right? Now thats true for those who do sports and acctually care about there grades, and the ones who have a job. Now the problem with our generation these days is no one cares about family anymore. What happend to the good family values and helping old people and just being with your family. I think it is just ridiculous that no one really spends time with eachother. All these teeagers seem to only care about there boyfriends and parties, and thats just wrong. Our family are the ones who love and have always been there for us and always will be. And what do we do? Ditch them for something stupid! I love my family and they come first to me. I hope many others feel that way but it seems that people dont show there love. All they show is stupidity.

Jay Ohh Bee

Well highschoolers lets face it, the time comes when we cant depend on our parents and we need to make our own money. There are so many things we want and just have too have, and well, we all know its a lot easier to get when we have our own money. The best thing is, right now we live with our parents so we dont have to worry about bills. Some of that money you make can go towards your personal self. Which if you ask me, is absolutley great! Plus starting now is going to give us a great start to being on our own. So my advice is save a little and spend a little. So get out there get those applications in and work. There is no reason to just lay around and be lazy all the time, you cant do it forever!

Girls=Make-up=Too Much Time

Well girls just admit it, we take forever getting ready and putting on our make-up. Now i dont know about you but i know that i rarely leave the house without putting my make-up on! And currently the best eye look is the smokey eye. But everyone has there own favorite wear, and I personally like mine dark. But the point here is it takes forever. Fashion!!

Everyone in highschool cares about there appearance. And Its mainly the girls! Thats just that facts, i mean of course not everyone shows it. Some people dont have a since of fashion because they are poor, lazy, or never been tought. And those are the poeple everyone looks at as losers. The people with the best clothes and the clean ones are the ones with the most friends. Its been like that for years and its never going to change, sorry.

For us in highschool right now we all have our favorite stores. The main ones being Holister, American Eagle, Pac Sun and Rue 21.

The Most popular styles right now are sleaveless shirts, short shorts, the cute flip flops and every girls fav pair of "to big for the face" sun glasses. But of course that was summer, and now its becoming winter, whats in style?
Everyone loves their plad shirts! Also the big winder coat with the fur hood. But most just wear a sweat shirt. The hottest jeans going right now are the skinnies. Carefull not to go to skinny, you dont want to loose your legs. So this winter throw on a pair of skinny jeans, tall boots, your furry sweatshirt and a beanie.  And be cool!

Highschool

Highschool is usually the place most teens dread going. Some see it only as a place where there is drama, teachers shoving homework down their throats, and pretty much like a mini jail where teens are forced to be all day. Even though school may seem completely useless, it's not. Yeah, there are going to be those days where your learning things your probably not going to use later in life, but are useful.

That's why all four years in highschool you need to try your hardest, because those four years could be determining what your doing when you get outta school.

Your Tone of Voice

Don't you hate it when your talking to someone and they give you that tone of voice that just sets you off the wall?  Yeah, I think we all hate that tone. For different people it's different tones. Me personally I hate the teacher tone. The one that is a "I'm better then you teacher voice." No one deserves that, ever. Maybe for teachers they think their students talk to them that way. Either way nor a teacher or a student should ever use that tone, because truthfully neither one is better then the other, so therefore no need for that tone so no problem, right?

People also seem to hate that "sarcasmic tone". It can be funny at times, others not so much.

I guess people see the way people say their words as a big deal. So weither you do or not, i'd just watch it because you may not be trying to be mean or hurt someones feelings, but little do you know that's just what your doing.

That Special Someone (;

In Highschool we all come across that "special someone", that just so happens to have caught our attention. Whenever they speak to you, or even just glance you a flirty look, your heart skips a couple beats and your whole world was just made. You think about them frequently, but you still can't get the nerves to tell them how you really feel. You choke at the first word. Well don't be nervous, just be yourself. They are just as nervous as you. I mean, don't go all out and tell you about the secret pictures you snapped of them, or the locks of hair you have (which you shouldn't because that'd be a tad creepy. ha) but just tell them, "Hey, you've kinda caught my attention, and I wanna see where these feelings are gonna lead me. " He/She may be a little shocked at first, but hey it's all worth a shot.
